In the darkness, I lie and wait.
When suddenly a streak of light comes trough
All around me, angels calling.
Their touch feels like nails on my skin

For far too long, I have been abused.
Left alone, broken and dismayed
My mind is fixed now, on what lies beyond.
And when the time comes, I will set my spirit free

For my mind is cold, and my body old.
Tell me; what is left for me to gain?
Throughout my life I tried to be benevolent,
but back I was only given pain

Angels calling to me, but I will not respond
They can have my body, but never my soul
I fall into darkness, and feel my body fade
But far beyond these white walls, my soul will live again

Snow covered mountains, surrounding me.
Walls of white is all I can see
It wont be long now, I will soon be there.
And with a final breath I run towards the cliff
