Woe be unto him who opens one of the seven gateways to hell,
because through that gateway evil will invade the world...

..and you will live in terror,
as foretold by the prophecy
within the book of Eibon.

Once a reclusive painter
through sorcery found the key.
No man (arrived) in time to interfere.

To the wall his hands were nailed,
like christ to the crucifix
and to this day a ghostly wail
can be heard from room 36.
A haunting that can't be undone.
It spreads across the hotel,
for it was built upon one
of the seven gateways to hell.

The seven dreaded gateways.
Doors of death and atrocity.
Consealed in cursed places.

On the day the gates are opened
the dead will rise and walk the earth.
The blind will clearly see this omen,
but none escapes this wretched curse.
In terror you shall now bear witness
to hell let loose upon the world.
And you'll face the sea of darkness
and all there in that may be explored.

See, the Eibon is open.
Use your eyes to read and learn.
Bound to hell your fate is woven.
Alive you may never return.

Hell is where all roads lead.
No turning back and no escape.
Walk on grey fields of the dead.
Blind eyes know that hell...

Reality has been obfuscated.
Soon you shall face the beyond.

The dead swarm all around.
Try to escape this predicament,
but the door out leads down.

Gaze upon your inescapable doom.
These grey plains are endless.
Here you shall forever roam,
amongst the scattered corpses.
A somber place of woe and blight.
At road's end you have arrived.
Cry now, as your eyes turn white.
You've now entered the afterlife.

See, the Eibon is open.
