For years you dug your own graves, now face the consequence

The world burns, a sea of raging flames.
Now all you’ve ever known, shall be erased.
A storm of chaos roaring, and reaching every shore.
And in its track there shall be piles of bodies littered on the ground

For how long did you think, you could go on like this?
Driven by greed and hate, so now you reap what you’ve sown.
It is no use to pray, your god just turn away.
Forsaken by your faith the words were false and now you die in vain

Echoes of lost souls, cry out towards the skies.

Formed in 1999, Burning Darkness has a long history as a demo- and live band in the underground black metal scene of Stockholm. It took a long time for the debut album "The Angel of Light" to be finished, but it's finally out now!

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
